Non-Smoking Policy
To ensure a clean, healthy and comfortable environment for all our guests and team members, our hotel operates a 100% non-smoking policy throughout all indoor areas, in accordance with Thailand’s Tobacco Products Control Act B.E. 2560 (2017) and applicable Ministry of Public Health regulations.
Smoke-Free Areas
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor and enclosed areas of the hotel, including:
Guest rooms and suites
Bathrooms and balconies where designated as non-smoking
Lobby and reception areas
Corridors and hallways
Stairwells and elevators
Restaurants and other dining areas
Offices and staff areas
Restrooms
Other enclosed or air-conditioned areas of the property
The prohibition applies to cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products, as well as electronic cigarettes and vaping devices.
Designated Smoking Areas
Guests who wish to smoke may do so only in specifically designated outdoor smoking areas, where provided by the hotel.
Smoking is not permitted within 5 metres of building entrances, exits, windows or ventilation openings.
Please contact Reception if you require assistance locating the nearest designated smoking area.
Smoking in Guest Rooms
Smoking inside guest rooms or other designated non-smoking accommodation is strictly prohibited.
Where evidence of smoking is found in a guest room, the hotel reserves the right to apply an appropriate cleaning, deodorising or restoration charge to cover the additional costs required to return the room to a smoke-free condition.
Any such hotel charge is separate from penalties that may be imposed by the relevant authorities under Thai law.
Compliance With Thai Law
Under Thailand's Tobacco Products Control Act B.E. 2560 (2017), smoking in a designated non-smoking area is prohibited.
Guests who violate the law may be subject to a fine of up to THB 5,000 imposed by the appropriate authorities.
Hotel management and employees are also required to advise or request any person found smoking in a prohibited area to stop smoking.
